4 Things to Keep in Mind When Going for the Long Game

During one of my coaching sessions with one of the new members, we agreed that this individual needs to go for the long game. His job is secure not for the moment but for the foreseeable future. He has tons of nice things happening on his personal life, they are all good  but time consuming. When we laid out a game plan for him with a timeline, I went over my "reminders" list that I customize for each mentee. But this time, I realized that 4 of those reminders would be applicable to anyone that will be doing long term planning. So, here you go;

SET Reachable Goals

Break down your goals into smaller steps that are realistic.

STREAMLINE Daunting Tasks

learn how to manage things more efficiently

TRACK All Your Efforts

keeping records will enable you to analyze your efforts later

BE Optimistic

Be optimistic but also be prepared for down times along the way

Would you want to add another "reminder" item to the list? Comment and if it makes sense, I will include it here.
